1. Eligibility
To register as a Vendor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Operate a legally compliant business under Indian law.
- Possess all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications relevant to the services offered.
2. Scope of Services
You may offer services such as (but not limited to) pet grooming, boarding, veterinary care, training, pet sitting, etc., as approved by the Platform. Services must be lawful and comply with local municipal and animal welfare regulations.
3. Vendor Obligations
- Maintain accurate business and service details on the Platform.
- Provide services professionally, safely, and in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including but not limited to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
- Not subcontract or delegate services to third parties without prior written consent from the Platform.
- Respond promptly to booking requests and communicate clearly with pet owners.
4. Payments and Commission
- The Platform may charge a commission on each booking. Commission rates will be communicated separately and are subject to change with prior notice.
- Payments will be settled to the Vendor's registered bank account on a weekly basis, subject to completion of services and after deducting applicable Platform fees and taxes.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
- Vendors must notify users of any cancellations at the earliest possible time.
- In case of Vendor-initiated cancellations or service failures, the Platform reserves the right to refund the pet owner and withhold payment to the Vendor.
- Repeated cancellations or complaints may lead to account suspension.
6. Compliance with Laws
Vendors are solely responsible for:
- Complying with applicable laws, tax obligations (GST, income tax), labour laws
(if employing others), and health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring humane treatment and safety of animals in their care.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Platform, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these terms,
- Negligence or misconduct in service delivery,
- Injury, death, or damage caused to pets under your care.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and content on the Platform remain the property of Lazydog Tech Solutions Private Limited. You may not use our branding without prior written approval.
9. Termination
- The Platform may suspend or terminate your account at its discretion for breach of terms, repeated customer complaints, or illegal activity.
- Vendors may deactivate their accounts by giving 15 days’ written notice, subject to the fulfilment of any pending obligations.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform acts only as an intermediary and is not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by the Vendor.
- Direct or indirect damages arising from services offered by the Vendor.
11. Dispute Resolution
- In case of disputes between the Vendor and the Platform, both parties will attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
- Failing which, disputes will be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The venue for arbitration shall be Purulia, West Bengal, India.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Purulia, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Modifications
The Platform may amend these Terms from time to time. Vendors will be notified of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
